Ancient Roots

Kambo has been used for generations by Indigenous communities of the Amazon rainforest, as part of their ceremonial and cultural traditions. It comes from the secretion of the giant monkey tree frog (Phyllomedusa bicolor), known by many names across the different peoples who have worked with it for centuries. For these communities, Kambo has never been a trend or a quick fix — it's a sacred practice, held with deep respect. That same reverence guides how it's approached here.

How Its Gathered (Ethically)

The wellbeing of the frog matters deeply. The secretion is gathered gently, without harming the frog, which is then returned safely to its environment. The frogs are not kept, caged, or injured.
