Is Kambo
Right for Me?

kambo newcastle

Kambo isn't suitable for everyone, and your wellbeing always comes first. Here's an honest guide to who it may be for — and why every ceremony begins with a careful conversation.

An Honest Starting Point

Kambo is a powerful traditional practice, and it deserves to be approached thoughtfully. It isn't a quick fix, and it isn't right for everyone — and being honest about that matters more than anything. That's why nothing ever goes ahead without a careful, confidential screening and a proper conversation first. Your safety is the priority, every time.

Is Kambo Right for Me? This May Be You If…

  • You feel genuinely drawn to traditional practice and want to explore it with care

  • You're looking for a calm, supported space, guided every step of the way

  • You're approaching this thoughtfully rather than looking for an instant solution

  • You're willing to share your health history openly, so we can keep you safe

  • You're ready to begin with an honest, no-pressure conversation

Pre-Treatment Guidelines

To prepare your body and ensure a safe Kambo experience:

  • Fasting: Avoid eating for at least 8 hours before your session.

  • Water intake: Limit to small sips on the day of treatment.

  • Alcohol and recreational drugs: Abstain for at least 48 hours before treatment.

  • Fasting practices: Avoid juice or water fasting for 48 hours before Kambo.

  • Diet: Consume a substantial meal the day prior to your session.

  • Activities: Refrain from saunas, sweat lodges, or intense exercise 24 hours before treatment.

Transparency and Safety

Full disclosure of your medical history, including medications and past conditions, is vital to ensure a safe and personalized Kambo experience. This allows your practitioner to tailor the treatment appropriately and minimize risks.

Kambo is a sacred and powerful secretion. Respecting these guidelines and contraindications is essential to unlock its full potential while prioritizing your health and safety.

If you have any questions about these guidelines or your suitability for Kambo treatment, consult your practitioner for personalized advice.

If any of these apply to you — or if you're ever unsure — please tell us when we speak. It doesn't necessarily mean Kambo is off the table forever, but it does mean we need to talk it through carefully first.

The Screening Coversation

Before any ceremony, we go through a screening together. This is a relaxed, confidential conversation where you can share your health history, any medications you take, and anything else relevant — and ask any questions of your own.

It's not a test, and there's nothing to worry about. It simply allows us to make sure Kambo is safe and right for you before anything goes ahead. Everything you share stays private.

There's No Rush. Only Your Pace

Kambo isn't about forcing change or fixing everything at once. It's a traditional practice approached with patience and respect — a space to slow down, reconnect, and meet yourself honestly. However you arrive, you'll be guided gently, one step at a time.
